Simon Pringle
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Simon has been with Matassa since the early 2000s, starting his journey as a Project Manager. Working closely alongside the former Director, he gained invaluable insight into the day-to-day operations and quickly became a key figure in the business. In 2006, Simon stepped into the role of Head of Operations, where his hands-on approach have played a pivotal role in shaping Matassa into the company it is today.
Richard Martin
KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Richard has been with Matassa since the beginning, growing alongside the business through every stage. Starting as a Project Manager, his genuine empathy and natural ability to connect with people quickly earned the trust of key clients. Now a Key Account Manager, Richard brings a strong understanding of client needs and consistently delivers with urgency and care. His relationship-first approach continues to build long-term trust and adds lasting value to the Matassa team.
Jodi Chartrand
NEW BUSINESS MANAGER
With over two decades at Matassa, Jodi brings deep experience and dedication to his role, particularly in supporting key clients within the public sector. Known for his professionalism, integrity, and results-driven approach, Jodi has built trusted relationships that stand the test of time. His strong problem-solving skills and commitment to client satisfaction have made him a vital contributor to Matassa’s continued success.
Catalina Hill
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Catalina comes to Matassa with 25+ years construction, fitout and renovation experience. Catalina previously worked in Auckland Airport, Commercial/Residential and insurance sectors, where she excelled. She has closely worked with architects, council, designers, engineers, home owners and claims/loss adjusters and brings a wealth of knowledge to the business. She is very determined, driven, hard working and self motivated individual.
Hamish Taylor
PROJECT MANAGER
Hamish comes to Matassa with 20 plus years’ experience in the Painting and Decorating industry. As a fully qualified painter, Hamish has worked in both commercial and residential sectors, from residential homes to high rise apartments and from factories to painting McDonalds. Hamish is known for his drive, enthusiasm and his eye for detail.
Jo Kasper
ADMIN & ACCOUNTS
Jo comes to Matassa as a diversly skilled Office/Accounts Administrator with 20+ years’ experience in general office/accounting duties as well as system implementations. With having a broad range of experience in a wide range of industries including service organisations, property, chartered accountants, recruitment, education consultants, data/security cabling, school accounting, retail/hospitality. Jo is excited to be working with the Matassa team and is looking forward to adding value where she can.
Linh Ho
SALES & ESTIMATING
Linh joined our Matassa team in August 2022 as Sales/Estimating Support, assisting the Sales team in delivering accurate and consistent quotations and maintenance plans to our clients in a timely manner. Prior to joining us, Linh had worked in the construction industry for a decade as a senior administrator for a successful earthworks company in Auckland. Linh is a creative, honest, and caring team player with a strong work ethic, focusing on delivering the highest level of customer care and meeting their expectations. Matassa highly values and appreciates having Linh as part of our team.
Claire Tuiasau
OPERATIONS SUPPORT
With 18+ years’ experience as a project/operations coordinator in Security and Property Management for both Residential and Commercial, this role involves multi-tasking, good communication and interpersonal skills with clients, trades and suppliers, ensuring delivery is on time and completed to our clients expectations. Claire is committed, determined and loyal and excited to be working with the Matassa team.
